Arbob's Manifesto
What I believe in, what drives me, and how I see the world.
On Technology
- Technology will fundamentally change how financial institutions work, how organizations conduct business, and how governments govern.
- The most promising technologies create new ways of working and leave more time for creativity and innovation.
- Technology should make organizations transparent, democratic, decentralized, efficient, and secure.
- Frontier technologies like AI and Blockchain are not incremental improvements. They're paradigm shifts that will reshape industries, redefine trust, and unlock possibilities we haven't yet imagined.
On Education
- Education is the single most important catalyst for the development of a country.
- Traditional education based on rote learning and grades rather than practical skills fails young minds and restricts innovation and creativity.
- Reject the Rat Race. Explore careers based on interests and passion rather than doing what everyone else is doing.
- Multidisciplinary thinking creates visionaries. Mark Zuckerberg studied Psychology AND Computer Science. Bill Gates enrolled in Law AND Computer Science.
- A driven personality always finds a way. Education can either be a stepping stone or a roadblock. Those with entrepreneurial spirit push obstacles aside.
- In the information age, there are many ways to learn. Formal education is not the only path.
On Learning
- You can learn almost everything online. Don't let schooling get in the way of education.
- Learn by doing. Experiential learning is hundreds of times better than theoretical.
- The greatest challenge you have to overcome is the person you used to be.
- The biggest mistake you can make is to not learn from your mistakes.
On Health
- Take care of your health. You can't chase your dreams from a hospital bed.
- It's not the load that breaks you down. It's the way you carry it.
- Anger is a punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistakes.
- Your body is the vehicle for everything you want to achieve. Maintain it.
On Thinking
- The most confused and complex mind is the most innovative mind.
- Be aware of your biases. Confirmation bias, sunk-cost fallacy, anchoring. They distort judgment. Build tests and disciplines into your decision-making.
- Seek information and opinions from a variety of people to widen your frame of reference.
- Never think of the status quo as your only alternative.
- Get someone you respect to play devil's advocate against decisions you're contemplating.
- Be honest with yourself about your motives.
On Building
- Build things that matter. Create solutions that solve real problems and help people achieve their goals.
- Ideas are your most valuable asset. Capture them relentlessly.
- Innovation is the most important pillar of building something sustainable. Innovate. Innovate. Innovate.
- Just like you can't expect 9 women to give birth to a baby in 1 month, you shouldn't expect overnight miracles. Good things take time.
- Work locally, think globally.
- Stop dreaming of overnight success. Those you see succeeding have worked for years to get there.
- Build from scratch when you must. Understand the fundamentals. Simple beats complicated every time.
On Work & Motivation
- The idea of making a difference motivates a person more than money.
- Don't let negative people come anywhere near your circle. Protect your energy and the people you care about.
- Clear communication is the foundation of every good relationship, professional or personal.
- The goal should never be just to become wealthy, but to create a life where you can enjoy yourself.
- Have core values and abide by them with all your might. Be ethical.
On Focus
- Titles aren't accomplishments. Followers aren't friends. Busy isn't productive.
- Recognition doesn't equal competence. Awards don't guarantee results.
- Pick one goal and give it everything. Scattered effort leads to scattered results.
- Success isn't absolute. Failure isn't permanent.
- Keep it simple. If you can't explain what you're doing in 15 seconds, you don't understand it well enough.
On Creativity
- Take notes. Got an idea? Write it down.
- Surround yourself with creative people. Get feedback. Collaborate.
- Allow yourself to make mistakes. Practice. Practice. Practice.
- If at first the idea is not absurd, there is no hope for it. - Einstein
- You'll never stumble upon the unexpected if you stick only to the familiar.
- Impossible just means it hasn't been done yet.
On Success & Failure
- The "self-made success" myth is mostly fiction. Most successful people had advantages: family support, connections, timing and luck. Know the truth, then succeed anyway.
- Never start with a blank page. Find what's closest to what you want and use those as starting points.
- Failure is data. Learn from it, don't let it define you.
- Whenever you feel like giving up, think of all the people that would love to see you fail.
- You have to fight some of the bad days to earn the best days of your life.
On Impact
- Technology should help the most vulnerable. Assistive technologies, personalized learning, and accessibility tools can transform lives.
- Build communities. Connect people who can share experiences, get advice, and learn from each other.
- Don't waste time on non-existent opportunities. Think logically. Do the math.
- The world needs free thinkers and visionaries across multiple disciplines.
- Dream big. Do more of what makes you happy. Finish something.
On Resilience
- Ignore the crabs. When you try to climb out of the bucket, others will try to pull you back down. Keep climbing.
- The ones who say "you can't" and "you won't" are probably the ones scared that "you will."
- One bad chapter doesn't mean your story is over.
- Success is not about how fast you run or how high you climb but how well you bounce.
- Your biggest risk will be the one you don't take.
Core Beliefs
Passion over profit
Do what you love. The rest follows.
Question everything
Statistics lie. Myths persist. Think for yourself.
Practical > theoretical
Skills over credentials. Building over talking.
Technology as enabler
Tools that democratize, decentralize, and empower.
